With the support from the 'Russian World' (Russki Mir) Foundation, Russian Council, and Birmingham Local Authorities, the first Russian World Foundation CABINET and public Russian library were opened on 14 April 2011. The idea of a public Russian library in Birmingham was conceived over 10 years ago and is finally realised.
